Grand Exits

Wedding Grand Exits

There are so many options when it comes to grand exits. some simple and some over the top! Not every wedding needs one but here are some pros:

  • You get to leave and not stay too long after feeling obligated to say bye to everyone if that isn’t your jam. Some of our couples love that part so may not be a pro for you but one for some people who would like to leave.
  • Epic photos. We love these exits captured in media form.
  • A high energy exit with everyone you love, the icing on the cake at the end of your wedding. You have spent anywhere from 6 months to 2 years planning so you should go out with a bang!
  • A fun way to include guests, they love to be a part of your wedding, not just at it. Include them!
  • You have a final ending instead of people trickling out until the last 10 people are there. It is a final end to your magical day. It also gives a final end for venues when the ending time is enforced and you need to be done by a specific time.

Whatever you choose, do what is best for you. None if it, some of it or all of it; it is your day. Celebrate your love story!

Rose Petal Exit

Rose Petal Exit

Exiting your ceremony or your reception, lots of people love the traditional rose petal exit. One thing is to be sure to check with your venue to be sure they are allowed but they do make for some lovely pictures.

Ribbon Wand Exit

Ribbon Wand Exit

Ribbon wands are fun and can be customized by color to your wedding color scheme. We also love the confetti cannon vibe without all the confetti. They are also soft so if you get wacked in the head it isn’t too bad.

Pom Pom Exit

Pom Pom Exit

Any past cheerleaders out there? What a fun, high energy exit. Everyone at your wedding should be your biggest cheerleaders so let them! Rah Rah!

Sparkler Exit

Sparkler Exit

People still love the traditional sparkler exit. You do have to be sure you have the space and that your venue allows for them but look at that epic photo. Some helpful tips: use butane lighters, have buckets of water and make sure people are spaced a part and all have their sparklers in hand before you light them.

Light Up Ribbon Wands

Light Up Ribbon Wands

These next few videos are not the best videos but you get the idea. These light up ribbon wands were purchased off of Etsy but they are the cutest ribbon wands that lite up, everyone was so excited to take one home. Here is a pic and then a video below.

Glow Wands

We don’t care how many times we use glow wands, they never get old. A great party motivator and a hyped exit option for sure.

Bubble + Sparkler + Cold Sparks

Or you can go all in and mix a bunch. Any of these would be great by themselves but go big or go home was M + A theme. These bubble guns were wild though, best we have seen!

Welcome to SIE’s Blog!

Sacramento Wedding DJ Blog: Sound Image Entertainment

Brandon and Kami Storz Sacramento Wedding DJs

It has been a hot minute since we published a blog, so we thought it was time to share our first post. We would like to introduce ourselves: we are Brandon and Kami, the owners of a Sacramento DJ and production company. As a husband and wife team, we work together at every wedding. We take pride in what we do and truly enjoy working with our clients. We love our people!

Brandon has been a Sacramento DJ for about 29 years. He started in high school by DJing a military ball, an event he still participates in today. He hosted many house parties at his parents’ home, which played a significant role in his childhood as he learned to navigate the gear and music. Over the years, he has dedicated a lot of time to learning, growing, and improving his craft. Despite his dad encouraging him to find a “real job,” the DJ life never let him go.

For a long time, Brandon specialized in school dances until he met me, Kami. If I wanted to spend time with him on my days off, I had to join him at work. I began by taping down cords and being Brandon’s assistant, helping with various tasks along the way. Our collaboration evolved into what you see today. We discovered that we work best as a team, ensuring that wedding days flow smoothly, filled with fun and memorable moments.

I have been by his side for the last 21 years, and even though I’ve had my ups and downs with the job, I am grateful to work with Brandon every day.

We have 4 boys, a daughter-in-law, and my favorite girl Dorothy, our granddaughter. Brandon loves thrifting, woodworking, working, hanging out with me and occasionally our kids. I like to hike, run, bake, and be with people. We would have never imagined the life we built but we love it!

Life has been a bit hectic since Covid, and we are still finding our way through it all. We are excited for 2025 and for all the amazing people we get to work with. One thing is for sure: we have the best clients. We absolutely love seeing them build their lives, start families, and flourish. We wish nothing but the best for all of them, as they become part of the SIE family.

Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We look forward to going on this journey with you and we hope to have the opportunity to work with you. If you are in need of a Sacramento DJ, hit us up!
